Versatile musician and Taadi’s superstar, Kofi Kinaata has made VGMA history by winning his fourth award in the ‘Songwriter Of The Year’ category.
Kinaata beat of tight competition to win the award at the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Friday, June 25th, 2021.
Kofi Kinaata beat the likes of Diana Hamilton ,Adina, Joe Mettle,Abiana and Lei Epixode to win the category with his inspirational and thought provoking song “Behind The Scenes”.
This makes him the only artist in the history of the VGMA to win the “Songwriter of the Year” category four(4) conservative times.
