SPOTLIGHT AWARDS AFRICA 2021 OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED WITH 19 CATEGORIES
The Spotlight Awards Africa 2021 was officially launched on Saturday, 19th February,2021 at the La palm Beach hotel under the theme, “Rewarding, Courage and Determination inspiring the Young African” with 19 Categories.
The Project Executive for the Award Scheme, Mimi Owusu – Appiah said, “Categories under the Award Scheme was suited for any Youth to tell their stories. The goal is to Support and Inspire African Youth to pursue sound investment as well as lending a hand. This scheme is set to Celebrate, Support, Honour and most importantly help deserving youth attract funding”.
“We are showing appreciation to the many outstanding African Youth that have excelled or and are excelling in the various fields. We will be scouting for the best youth who will be getting percentage of funding for their projects or businesses” she furthered.
The top two categories that will be awarded with Funding are the “Discovery of the Year” and the “Social Intervention or the Youth Foundation of the Year”
The Chairman of the launch Rev. Abbeam Ampomah Danso, also said that “Starting something like this you must be prepared for critics and these people are people who makes you strong, are people who makes you to open your eyes and also check every step you make also making sure that the risk you take is a good one. I believe that this initiative is a big one for everybody”.
