Hip life legend, Okyeame Kwame is expected to be today, International Youth Day, Thursday, 12 August 2021, named the Climate Clock’s official National Ambassador for Ghana.

As the Climate Clock’s official National Ambassador for Ghana, Okyeame Kwame will help to mobilise communities to engage government officials in making greater climate commitments in the months surrounding the upcoming UN Climate Summit as well as lend his voice and presence at the COP26 in America in November 2021.

The event would also be used to launch the #ActInTime to urge leaders to confront the climate crisis on a massive scale required to avert the worst climate impacts.

The Chief Executive of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Akwasi Agyeman, is also expected to be named as Patron of the Climate Clock in Ghana and would be working to install a monumental sized Climate Clock in Ghana, similar to the one in New York City.
