The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the recently made Guan District in the Oti Region, Marlon Anipa has passed on.
His unexpected end happened on Tuesday morning November 16, 2021, after a short sickness.
Mr Anipa had served only 11 days in office as the very first District Chief Executive.
The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso in the Eastern district, Davis Ansah Opoku affirmed it in a post on Facebook.
Mr Anipa’s demise comes after he was consistently endorsed by the Assembly individuals on November 5, 2021.
He surveyed 18 “Yes” votes, addressing 100%.
