Man appears in court for stealing skull from cemetery

A 38-year-old person, Ebuka Enuma, was summoned under the steady gaze of a Yaba judge court in Lagos on Tuesday, May 31 for purportedly being in control of a human skull.

It’s accumulated that the suspect who lives in the Bariga area of Lagos, took the skull after he broke into Amukoko Cemetery and unearthed an old grave on May 13.

Arraignment Counsel, ASP Rita Momah said Enuma was grabbed while attempting to leave the graveyard.

The offense, she said, repudiates the arrangements of Section 238 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).

Ebuka Enuma, in any case, argued not liable for the charge against him. The managing judge, Chief Magistrate Adeola Adedayo conceded him to bail in the amount of N300,000 with two guarantees.

The case was then dismissed till June 28 for notice.
