FENTY BEAUTY IN AFRICA

Billionaire Rihanna, known in private life as Robyn  Rihanna Fenty has announced that she’s launching her line of beauty skin care products “Fenty Beauty” in Ghana, West Africa.

The “Umbrella” hitmaker took to her official page to express how she has been looking forward to making her beauty products available on the African continent.

The heavily pregnant superstar in a Twitter post, Riri named Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe as the first African countries where her products will be launched in.

Fenty is the surname of Rihanna, who was born on the Caribbean Island of Barbados on February 29, 1988.

Market-analyst firm, Mordor Intelligence, predicts that the beauty and personal care products market in Africa and the Middle East will expand at a compound annual growth rate of 3.1% over the next 5 years.

Rihanna’s move is thus seen as a smart business decision to boost its global reach and make an impact in the fast-growing African market.
